The Oadby Plastics 40/40 Challenge!

To celebrate 2010 being our 40th anniversary the Oadby Plastics team has committed to complete two recognised and challenging events to support ten worthy causes. A number of hardy employees will compete in the London Marathon, described as 'the world's most human race' and the Three Peaks Challenge, which involves tackling the three highest peaks in the UK - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - all within 24 hours.

We would like to ask you to kindly consider helping us achieve our goal of raising £40,000 through sponsorship and donations. All money raised will go towards supporting the following charities:

These charities are linked personally to our company, either through supporting a member of the team directly or indirectly via a family member. We’re undertaking this challenge in order to do something positive for others, to really test ourselves and, of course, to mark our 40th birthday by giving something back.

We understand that asking for sponsorship is never easy, particularly in these challenging economic times. However, "if you don’t ask you don’t get!" So we are asking. If you feel you are able to donate, my colleagues and I and, of course, our chosen charities will be truly grateful. To ease the concern of how much is the 'right amount to give', we would ask for a maximum donation of £25.00. Donations can be made by clicking our JustGiving links to the left or by cheque payable to Oadby Plastics Good Causes.
