For long-term use, up to ~105 °C; for short-term exposure, up to ~150 °C. The lower service limit is around –50 °C.

Yes, it is highly machinable — can be cut, drilled, milled or turned with conventional tooling. Welding is less common for acetal homopolymer but specialist techniques may apply depending on the application and joint requirements
