Reduce

We reduce waste across our manufacturing operations by utilising the available area of stock material for maximum production yield and minimum wastage thanks to our production planning system selecting the optimal stock material for each job.

Reuse

With any cutting and machining operation there will be offcuts of material, especially on short production runs. We collect these material offcuts and keep them for reuse in future jobs to reduce waste and demand for fresh stock material.

Recycle

We're serious about our waste streams and take a particular focus on our plastic production waste. Although our products are a far cry from single use and packaging plastics, we understand that recycling our production waste has a positive impact on the environment.

We're always looking to improve our sustainability performance for the good of local communities, industry, and the planet.

We've invested heavily in expanding our solar cell capacity at our offices in Leicester, Cannock and Braintree and use renewable or zero carbon energy contracts across our sites. We will continue to invest in sustainable infrastructure to reduce any impact on the environment and make our business more efficient.

We handle our waste responsibly and we're proud that our machining swarf is diverted from landfill!

Based in Newbury, RPCS have been trading in plastic recycling since 1991 and are specialists in post-industrial plastic recycling, processing plastics back to a high quality in regrind or pulver.

Looking to the future, our goal is to divert 100% of our combined waste streams away from landfill; an ambitious target, but one that we are determined to achieve.

We also aim to reduce our relative energy consumption across our sites in conjunction with our increase in renewable energy capacity to make our operation more energy efficient.
