The long‐term service upper limit is around 90 °C and a lower service temperature of around -30 °C.
Acetal MD offers the same strength, wear resistance, and machinability as standard Acetal C, but with the added benefit of being metal-detectable. This makes it ideal for environments where hygiene and contamination control are priorities.
Acetal MD is resistant to most common cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sanitisers. However, avoid prolonged exposure to strong acids or oxidising agents, which could degrade the material over time.
