Premierbond HT is a premium adhesive with high tack and double the initial bond strength of most grab cladding adhesives, making it suitable for vertical applications. Its 2-part polyurethane formulation ensures easy mixing and reliable bonding of uPVC sheets to most building substrates, for interior and exterior use.

In addition to its powerful adhesive properties, Premierbond HT can also be used as a silicone alternative for sealing and bonding applications.

What are the application conditions and limitations to be aware of?

Application and storage guidance includes:

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust/grease; at least one substrate surface should be porous to allow the adhesive to cure properly.
Application temperature range for the “Premierbond HT” variant is approximately +5 °C to +40 °C.
Certain substrates are not suitable (for example: PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, bituminous substrates) in that specific variant.

What is the expected curing time and shelf life of the adhesive?

For the “Premierbond HT” variant:

Initial cure time: about 24 hours at standard conditions (23 °C / 55% RH)
Shelf life when stored unopened: up to 18 months under appropriate conditions.
