Oadby Plastics expanding Leicester home to meet growing demand

Oadby Plastics Ltd are delighted to announce the acquisition of a 3.2-acre site adjacent to its current Leicester premises that will house a new 75,000 sq. ft. production hall.

Despite global economic uncertainty, Oadby continues to thrive and has quickly outgrown its current manufacturing footprint. The new production hall, equipped with our latest CNC machinery and specialist traditional equipment, will allow for a greater scale in production output whilst aligning with the needs of a growing customer base.

Demolition of the old buildings is currently underway and being carried out by specialist contractor, Cawarden Co. Ltd., we expect full redevelopment to be complete in January 2023.

Investment in the production hall highlights Oadby’s commitment to its core values and mission to expand manufacturing capabilities and set the standard of excellence in supplying high-quality, machined plastic parts. The production hall will also benefit the wider Leicestershire community by developing this derelict site and creating high-quality and sustainable employment opportunities.

Oadby’s Chairman, Neil Driver, commented, ‘This latest acquisition has been in our plans for the last two years. Our belief in Oadby’s culture of innovation and being a trusted partner, were key drivers in bringing this project to reality. We are constantly challenging ourselves to be the best supplier we can and we believe our new production facility will help maintain our reputation for service excellence.’
